Days out with kids in Hampshire

Are you looking for a great day out with your kids in Hampshire this summer? As a Mum of two girls, I know that keeping them entertained over the 6 weeks Summer Holidays can be tricky. Here are our favourite places to visit in Hampshire.

Moors Valley Country Park

Moors Valley Country Park is located in Ringwood, Hampshire, just 40 minutes from Whitchurch, Hampshire. It’s a fantastic place to spend the day with kids, friends, or your dog. The best part is that most of the activities are free! You only need to pay for parking, which costs £4.90 – £16.50 for the whole day. With free access to Play Trails, cycle trails, parks, and lakeside walks, there’s plenty to enjoy. You’ll also find a café and ice cream stalls, or you can bring your own picnic. If you want to try additional activities like the miniature Railway, Go Ape, Segway, or Adventureland, there are additional fees. You can tailor your visit based on your budget.

Portsmouth Dock Yard

• This day out was fantastic, memories of a school trip to the HMS Victory came flooding back when we were aboard. We bought the tickets using our Tesco Club Card Points, as you know I always enjoy saving money when I can. The Dock Yard offers various ticket options, we opted for the one with unlimited access all year, there are a total of 12 attractions to visit.

Paultons Park

Pepper Pig World is known for having the lowest entrance fee per person among all the UK theme parks, so I can’t find any deals to get in. If I’m mistaken, please let me know in the comments below. Nevertheless, I find this place a HOOT HOOT and worth every penny! Please also let me know in the comments if you’re old enough to understand why I said that 😉 Its a  fun-filled day for the whole family, with fast rides for thrill seekers like Isla and more relaxed rides for those of us who are less adventurous, like myself and Grace. Its also the home of Pepper Pig World for the younger ones.
