Newborn Photo Shoot in Whitchurch Hampshire –  Saboor

Recently, I had the joy of welcoming baby Saboor into my Whitchurch Hampshire Studio. Firstly, I just loved his name, it sounds like a strong name.  This was the first time I had met this wonderful family and they brought with them Nanny all the way from America. This made for a wonderful selection of Family Portraits. It felt extra special photographing nanny with the boys knowing she lived so far away.

Saboor’s Big Brother was proud and despite being just 5 years old had fantastic listening ears. He followed instructions beautifully.  With no fuss at all he aced his baby brothers Newborn Photo Shoot Whitchurch Hampshire.  

After the family portraits, Dad took Big Brother out as it can be a tad boring for the older sibling. Luckily, offering a Newborn Photo Shoot in Whitchurch Hampshire, I am perfectly located to go for a countryside walk or pop to the White Hart for breakfast or Kudos Coffee for tea and cake.

Saboor was the perfect model. Just like his big brother. We began by taking wrapped prop shots using my favourite bamboo basket and some richly coloured blankets and wraps. We transitioned from one prop to another and ended with the tucked-in pose before moving on to the table posing image.

We incorporated rich navy blue and ochre tones into our session. Starting with Huck Finn and transitioning on to side lay, bum up, and chin on hands. Saboor managed all the poses without fully waking, although he did require his mum’s reassurance to settle into the bum-up pose, leading to a wonderful shot as you can see below of mum’s protective hand soothing him back to sleep.

The end of your Newborn Photo Shoot

Saboor’s newborn photo shoot was completed in 3 hours, and Mum received a gallery of over 30 images within 7 days of the session. I strive to deliver a gallery of at least 20 images from every newborn session, although this number may vary depending on the baby.
