Revealing your most asked questions: Newborn Photoshoot
1. How many Newborn Sessions have you done, and what is your experience with handling newborns?
I started building my Newborn Portfolio in the spring of 2022. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing over 60 babies! But, as a mum of 2 girls, my experience of handling newborns goes beyond this.

2. Are you fully trained in Newborn Safety and posing techniques? How do you ensure my baby’s safety throughout the shoot?
Absolutely! I take newborn safety very seriously. This is why I’ve trained with some of the top photographers in the industry: Kath Evans, Emma Jane, and Tracy Willis. Their expertise has given me the knowledge to pose babies safely. Throughout your Newborn Photoshoot, I always keep a close eye on your baby, adjusting poses and setups as needed. I never rush the process. When baby needs milk, a hug or just a pause. I wait.

3. How long does it take to receive the final photos after the shoot, and how do you deliver them (digital gallery, prints, etc.)?
You can expect to receive your online viewing gallery within 7 days of your photoshoot. Once the gallery is ready, you’ll be able to choose your favourite images. All images are delivered digitally. I can quote for print and frames upon request.

4. What’s included in your Newborn Photography package? How long is the session, and how many photos can I expect to receive?
All the details about my packages can be found on my website www.islagracephotography.co.uk/newborn, where you can explore the different options available for your session. Depending on the package you choose, the session lasts between 2-3 hours. This allows plenty of time for breaks, feeding, and settling your baby.

5. Do you also take family and sibling photos during the Newborn Session? If so, do you provide directions on how to pose for those shots?
Yes! The Gold and Diamond packages include family and sibling photos as part of the session. I’ll guide you and your family through some easy and natural poses. Don’t worry if you’re not sure how to pose—I’ll be there to direct you in a way that makes you feel comfortable.
