Christmas Photo Shoot Hampshire
Christmas Photo Shoots in my Hampshire Studio have been released and morning Sessions have sold out for Santa’s Workshop. Thank you all so much for your continued support! I love Christmas Season. 80% of my clients are returning clients. It’s a joy to witness the growth of your children and hear about the events of your year. Not only that but I take pleasure in planning the sets and creating a truly magical photo shoot experience for your family each year.
While photographing one of this year’s two setups last week, I thought it would be interesting to revisit my Christmas setups over the years. Here are the past 4 years Set ups. What is your favourite Christmas Photo Shoot in my Whitchurch Hampshire Studio?
2020
The year of lockdown. What a relief it was to be open! I went for an outdoor scene that year. Having had such an awful year with the start of Covid, Christmas Minis 2020 was all about getting families together and creating Festive Family Portraits together.
2021
The Christmas Mini Season began just 6 days after my dad passed away. I remember feeling guilty on the morning of the first session, but I knew my dad would have been disappointed in me if I had let my clients down. Being around familiar faces and doing something I loved was a welcome break from my thoughts and grief. Your support really helped me that month. Thank you!
This backdrop is also a favourite of mine, beautifully modelled by Tabby from Marina School of Dance. I loved the cosy feel with the fire place.
2022 – My favourite Christmas Photo Shoot to date!
The Christmas Kitchen
This year was so much fun! I loved it so much that it’s been hard not to repeat it. I still have flour that just won’t come off my softbox on my flash! After focusing on posing for two years, I had the opportunity to focus on natural interaction and encouraging parents to just go with it and get involved. I remember one family, Mum and Dad purposely didn’t dress up so I couldn’t ask them to jump in for a photo. But, they couldn’t resist! They ended up having a wonderful time blowing flour around with their boys. It led to them all wearing matching PJs the following year, which really made me smile.
2023
Waiting For Santa
Last year was filled with heart warming moments of natural interaction combined with posing. Cosy snuggles on the bed, reading your children a magical story as they sat wide-eyed, pointing excitedly at Santa flying across the night sky.
2024
Santa’s Workshop – November 9th and November 10th
Santa’s workshop is set to be a fun filled Christmas Photo Shoot with natural interaction as children play with wooden tools and sit on Santa’s Workbench. ideal for families with younger children.
The Christmas Greenhouse – November 23rd and November 24th.
This will be my first outdoor scene since 2020. Advertising images have not been taken yet, but this will be a posed session, with an element of fun. Maybe a few snowball fights….
