Are you looking for some Magical Experiences to make you feel all Christmassy?
Then look at these 5 local attractions.
- Milestones Museum – Basingstoke, Hampshire. This is a Family Favourite. With a pay once visit all year offer its excellent value for money. With a Santa Meet and Greet with an authentic Santa at an extra cost or a Reindeer Trail around the Museum it’s a great way to spend a few Magical Festive hours.
2. National Trust Mottisfont – Just a 30 minute drive from Whitchurch, Hampshire. We’ve gone here every year for 5 years now and this year the house is beautifully decorated with the theme “A journey to the North Pole”. The people who make this happen take days to create a Magical Experience for the whole family.
3. Bournemouth Pier and Christmas Market – Under 1 hours drive from Whitchurch, Hampshire. It gets extremely busy and it is right on the Sea Front so wrap up warm and hold hands! Take some pennies for Hot Donuts and Hot Chocolate as you wonder around the Seafront and see the beautiful lights. Walk further down through Bournemouth to the Gorgeous Sites, Smells, and Sounds of the Christmas Market.
4. Whitehall Garden Centre Lacock – This is an hours drive from Whitchurch Hampshire, but I promise you it is worth every he said she said you might get from the children in the back of the car LOL This Garden Centre pulls out all the stops to ensure you leave their Garden Centre Full of Christmas Spirit and maybe a boot full of Christmas Decorations too. With moving Christmas Displays, real Reindeer, sheep, donkeys and goats and at certain times for a fee toddler rides. This one is a must see!
5. Longleat Festival of Light – Ok, this one is pricey but if like us you have a Tesco Club Card, you can save your points throughout the year and get free entry. They have various entry options including going around the safari and house or just going to see the lanterns lit up. Its quite beautiful. It’s a whole day so I recommend thermal gloves, hats, snow boots and heating on full as soon as you get back to the car!
Where are your Family Favourite Festive Experiences. Are we missing anywhere magical?
